We became well aware that Trevor Noah had what it takes when he officially succeeded Jon Stewart and took over as host of The Daily Show last December.
We think he knows so too.
How has he fared so far? Well, with the many moments of laughter he has brought to us, here are ten of his best moments on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
#1. His animal impressions are super legit.
#2. He talks about sexting in Pope emojis ever so casually (oh the horror)!
#3. He mimics Donald Trump to a T.
Perhaps, former US presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson too?
#4. He treads on American political territory and is absolutely unapologetic for it.
Or in another instance, turning Ted Cruz’s presidential videos into a variety of family and horror movies. Genius.
#5 And it’s not just America… in this case, his own South African President, Jacob Zuma.
#6. He asks the best questions, in all the right ways.
Especially that one time Donald Trump confused the most unforgettable date in American history, 9/11, with 7-11, which left Trevor with just one question: How?! HOW?
#7. He invites the BEST guests to the The Daily Show.
Case in point: Kevin Hart. Here’s introducing, mitches.
Also, not forgetting the hot piece of ass, Theo James. Divergent, anyone?
Other mention-worthy guest stars include Will Smith, Timbaland, Jack Back, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and more!
#8. He has the best interview reflexes.
What would you do if you were interrupted in the middle of conducting an interview? … By pants?
Kevin Hart graced The Daily Show as Trevor’s first guest and Trevor was in the midst of complimenting Hart’s “rockstar body” when Hart broke out in question – “Have you seen my pants?” and followed to show them off.
Trevor responded by taking a good look at Hart and his pants, and releasing hearty laughter. Thank you Trevor, for teaching us all that laughing it off is the best way to go in life. Just keep jammin’ y’all!
#9. With Trevor Noah came the beginning of a new music segment for The Daily Show.
The Daily Show has already seen Ryan Adams, French pop sensation Christine And The Queens and Houston band The Suffers, just to name a few.
Can you just hear Trevor chanting in his mind, “Get outta the frame, Trevor. Get outta the frame!”
#10. He even does magic, and totally owns the show.
What confidence. Well done, Trevor! Here’s to many more moments on The Daily Show.
